We love you and will miss you Uncle Twayne!!

Last week we got a call from my Aunt up in Twin saying that my uncle had a couple seizures and his lungs were filling up with fluid. She told us that they had made the decision not to put him back on any machines. She let us know that they were not giving him much longer to live. The next day he passed away! It was one of the hardest days I have had in a long time and I cried for quite sometime. We then traveled this last weekend up to his funeral in Twin Falls. It was a great funeral, if there is such a thing, but boy was it hard. I cried and cried. He has been so close to our family and been there for us kids for everything. I do know he is better off and happier where his is now, but it still hurts to know he is gone. He surely will be missed by all of us and all those who knew him; he was truly a great friend to all he met. I am grateful that the couple weeks before I was able to go up and visit him.
We all love you so much Uncle Twayne and will miss you TONS!!!

Hilarious Brother/Sister Moment!

We sadly had to go to Twin Falls this last weekend to my uncle's funeral. While there Nils and I with our kids along with Val and Bryan stayed in a hotel room. We were sitting around talking and having a good time when Bryan came with such a clever idea I guess you could say. He saw me sitting there with my belly popped all out and told me, "Hey, I look like you!" He then came and sat by me to see, sure enough!! He had a belly like mine. LOL!! We had to get a picture because we were all laughing so hard. Loved it, it was great to be able to have a good laugh. Sorry Bryan, I am posting it! :)

Below is a picture I took of Brooklyn hanging with her Aunt Val. It's Val's little shadow! We were getting ready for bed chatting and she wanted a picture with Aunt Val. I told Bryan to get in the picture and I guess he decided to close his eyes. :)

It's a BOY!!!

I told myself and told myself that I was not going to find out what we were having this time around. Well, the other day I went and gave in. I knew I couldn't hold out. :) I found out what it was while we were doing an ultrasound. We are having a BOY! I am really excited and thrilled with the outcome. I was truthfully really wanting a boy this time. I wanted to get out all the little boy stuff again. Plus, Brooklyn is so dang hard I didn't want another girl so soon. LOL ;) I would of course took either, but I am thrilled to be expecting a boy! My tummy is getting big and hard and I now I feel prego instead of just a fat belly. I have been able to feel him move, but just the other day the kids and Nils finally got to see my stomach move when he kicked. So exciting and fun. I can't wait for a week or so when the kids can put their hands on my tummy and feel him! Ryder is very excited as expected to be getting a brother! He says they are going to be best buddies. He even told me the other day, "Yahoo. That means the baby is going to pee like me and can pee outside with me too." LOL Good old Ryder. Brooklyn wanted a girl like her she says. When you ask her if she is excited for another brother she changes her mood everytime. Most of the time we get a dirty look and a "No. Like Me." answer from her, but I know she'll love him up just the same. Got any baby boy name ideas? Feel free to leave a comment with the name ideas if you'd like. :)

Building the perfect snowman....

Last week we had Val and her husband Nadim come up for Christmas. While they were up they all decided they wanted to build a snowman. Nadim of course had never done it living in hot weather his whole life so they thought it'd be cool to show him how it worked. We bundled up the kids and off they went. They had a great time and it turned out rather cute if I do say so myself! It took them quite a few hours and the kids got tired, but they had so much fun. Thanks Aunt Val and Uncle Nadim for building a cool snowman with the kids and making them so excited!!

We had our ward Christmas party a week ago. Nils and I took the kids so they could see Santa. They were so excited and it worked quite nice as a bribe for the day to get them to be really good and clean house! We told the kids that once we ate our dinner up there and were really good Santa would come. We ate and the kids waited and kept asking over and over where he was. Finally he did come. They were both fine with it when he came through the door until he came down our aisle. He then stopped to talk to the kids and they ducked away. Brooklyn was so scared she covered her eyes, ducked into me, and then started shaking. He walked away and went up on stage and they just watched him closely. We finally talked them into going up there and telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Brooklyn was fine getting the candy from him, but as soon as she turned to talk to him that was the end of it and she hopped off his lap crying again! LOL Ryder was fine as long as he didn't have to sit on his lap and he would only go up there if our friend took him and not us. It was a fun night and even though they were scared of Santa, they still want him to come visit us. Go figure. :)

Way to go Ryder!!

Ryder entered a few coloring pages into the contest this year around town that they do. They are the ones they send out around Christmas time in the Newspaper. Ryder ended up winning with one of his pictures. He won at the Eye Care For You and received $5 that he can now go buy any toy he wants with. They ended up having to take a few pictures and as you can see he was tired of it and yes, he hates getting his picture taken. His picture was very cute though and I was so glad to see he won and he was very excited he won as well. Good job buddy!
